Welcome to Artemis Goldens
Named for the goddess of the hunt and protector of the wild, Artemis Goldens is built on a simple belief: every puppy deserves to be raised like family before they ever become part of yours. We specialize in light and English cream golden retrievers, known for their gentle temperament, striking pale coats, and unmistakable warmth. From the moment our pups are born, they're surrounded by hands-on care, early socialization, and the kind of attention that only comes from a true home environment, not a kennel. We're a small, in-home English Cream Golden Retriever breeder serving Dallas–Fort Worth and all of Texas.

Sign contract & place deposit
Send your non-refundable deposit by Venmo to lock your spot. Deposits are time-stamped - first deposit, first pick.
Bring your puppy home
Pay the remaining balance, sign the agreement, and welcome your new family member - going home mid July.
Our Process
The Artemis Goldens process
Getting to Know Your Family
We love getting to know each family who applies, because finding the right fit goes both ways. Once we feel confident a family is right for our dogs, we'll reach out to a limited number of applicants from our waiting list with a contract and request for a $500 deposit to reserve a puppy from the upcoming litter. This deposit is non-refundable, except in the rare case that a puppy of your preferred gender isn't available within the litter. It's worth noting that a deposit doesn't reserve a specific "pick of the litter," instead, it secures your place in line so we can match you with the puppy who's truly the best fit for your family.
How We Match Puppies to Families
From the moment they're born, our puppies are evaluated under our close supervision. We watch closely as they grow, paying attention to their social interactions, confidence, drive, and individual personalities. By the time they're ready to go home, we have a clear sense of which puppy will thrive best with your family, taking into account your lifestyle, training goals, and household dynamic.
A Small, Family-Run Program
As a small, family-owned and operated breeder, we're able to give every puppy and every puppy buyer the personal attention this process deserves. Our litters are born and raised right in our home, fully immersed in family life, and are well socialized by the time they're ready to go home with you at 8 weeks old.
Early Neurological Stimulation
Starting at just 3 days old and continuing through day 16, our puppies go through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) exercises, the same protocols developed for and used by service dog and military working dog programs. This window represents a critical period of rapid neurological growth, and studies have shown these exercises can improve heart health, stress tolerance, and disease resistance throughout a dog's life.
Health
Our puppies are dewormed at 2, 4, 6, and 8 weeks, and receive their first veterinary exam and vaccinations at 8 weeks old.
Pickup and Delivery
We welcome you to pick up your puppy in person at our home in Dallas, Texas. While we don't ship our puppies, we're happy to help coordinate personal delivery for families who live further away, just reach out for pricing. If you choose to fly your puppy home, they'll need to travel in the cabin with you rather than as cargo.

Leo
Leo is a confident, outgoing golden retriever with an ivory-cream coat and a striking, well-proportioned build. He's substantial in frame and full of energy, known for his social, easygoing nature around people and other dogs alike. Despite his size and presence, he's a big, gentle soul at heart, equally happy showing off in the yard or settling in for a quiet evening with the family.
DAM • MOTHER
Bella
Bella is a sweet-natured and attentive mother with a light golden coat and a lean, athletic build. She's calm and watchful with her puppies, known for her gentle, easygoing nature both with her litter and around the rest of the family. She raises every puppy with the same warmth and devotion she shows us each day, equally content nursing a newborn litter or curled up at our feet by the end of the night.
